Transmission Clean Procedure

Add the "Cleaning Status" PID:
Ensure that the PID "Cleaning Status" is included in your Channels list. This PID will display the current status of the Trans Clean process, allowing you to monitor progress.

Meet Required Conditions:
Before initiating Trans Clean, confirm that all of the following conditions are met:

• Engine is running at idle.
• Vehicle is stationary.
• Transmission selector is in Park.
• Transmission temperature is between 70 - 110°C.
  
  

Start the Trans Clean Procedure:
In the Vehicle Controls & Special Functions window, initiate the transmission cleaning process.
Note: During the Trans Clean test, expect the engine speed to vary automatically, and you may hear clutch noises from the transmission. These changes are normal and indicate that the cleaning process is in progress.
