Where to Find and How to Use Trans Clean in VCM Scanner

Location:
The Trans Clean function is located under Vehicle Controls & Special Functions in VCM Scanner.

Using Trans Clean:

1. Log the PID "Cleaning Status":
   Before starting, log the PID "Cleaning Status" in the scanner. This PID will keep you updated on the status of the cleaning process.

2. Ensure Enable Conditions Are Met:

   • Engine running at idle
   • Vehicle stationary
   • Transmission selector in Park
   • Transmission temperature between 70°C and 110°C

3. Begin the Transmission Cleaning Procedure:
   Once all conditions are met, start the Trans Clean process.

Note:
During the procedure, the engine speed may fluctuate automatically, and you may hear various clutch noises from the transmission—this is normal and indicates the cleaning process is in progress.
