In some cases if the device fails to pair in the first time setup you will need to clear the Bluetooth history on the Phone and clear the Bluetooth history on the device, Here is how to clear the Bluetooth history on the Device:

Press and hold the button for 10+ seconds, until the slow blue flash turns into a fast blue flash, the repeat the pairing process.
