Types of Credits

HP Tuners uses a credit-based licensing system for vehicle tuning and diagnostics. There are four types of credits: GM, Dodge, Ford, and Universal Credits.

Universal Credits:

Used with the MPVI2, MPVI2+, and MPVI3 devices. Universal Credits work across all supported makes and models, eliminating the need to purchase vehicle-specific credits.

Manufacturer-Specific Credits:

Used with the discontinued MPVI device. These credits are specific to the vehicle's manufacturer:

GM Credits: For GM and GM-related vehicles.

Ford Credits: For Ford and Ford-related vehicles.

Dodge Credits: For Dodge and Dodge-related vehicles.

If you are transitioning from an MPVI to an MPVI2, MPVI2+, or MPVI3, you can now enjoy the flexibility of Universal Credits for all supported vehicles.
