GPEC2A "Controller Init: Not Ready"

The "Controller Init: Not Ready" error typically occurs due to one of the following reasons:

1. Incorrect Ignition State:

   • The vehicle ignition is not in the Key On, Engine Off (KOEO) position.

2. Incorrect Cable Installation:

   • The Dodge Smart Access Cable is not installed in the correct location.

• The HP Tuners Smart Access Cable is required for reading 2018+ GPEC2A controllers.
• Other aftermarket cables may not be compatible with VCM Suite software, and using them could result in errors or failure to connect.
