TeamViewer 101

At times, it may be necessary for our Support Team to directly view or control your computer to diagnose and resolve certain issues. HP Tuners uses TeamViewer, a secure remote access tool, to facilitate this process.


How to Get Started

  1. Download TeamViewer:

  2. Start TeamViewer:

    • Open the TeamViewer application once it’s installed. You’ll see the main interface as shown below.

Providing Access to HP Tuners Support

  • On the left side of the TeamViewer window, you’ll find the information needed to allow remote access:

    1. Your ID
    2. Password
  • Share this information with the Support Team member assisting you.


During the Remote Session

  • Once connected, our professional support staff can:
    • View and control your computer remotely.
    • Chat with you throughout the session to explain steps or gather further details.

Your Privacy and Security:

  • The remote session is temporary, and the connection ends once the session is closed.
  • Your password changes each time you restart TeamViewer, ensuring secure access.
