The MPVI2 is a scanning, logging, and data transmission tool that interfaces with your vehicle's OBDII port. The MPVI2 comes packaged with VCM Editor, VCM Scanner, and the programming/USB cables that create the powerful VCM Suite

 

First Use

1) Download and install the latest version of VCM Suite from www.hptuners.com/downloads. While there, download the MPVI2 device drivers as well. 

2) Connect your MPVI2 device to your PC via USB.

3) Open VCM Editor. Select the Help tab and choose Resync Interface from the menu. 

4) Your MPVI2 is ready to use once the resync has been completed.

 

Registering Your Device

5) Go to www.hptuners.com/my-account/ and either create a new account or log in to an existing account. 

6) Open VCM Editor or Scanner and connect your MPVI2 to your PC via USB.

7) Select the Help tab and then choose MPVI2 Verification Code

8) Go to the My Devices section in My Account and import your MPVI2 using the Verification Code.

Purchasing Credits and Upgrades

9) Log in to your account at www.hptuners.com/my-account/.

10) Go to the My Devices section and click the Add Credits link under the License Information column. 

11) Open VCM Editor. Select the Help tab and choose Resync Interface from the menu. 

 

Troubleshooting

  • Always make sure you are using the most up-to-date drivers and software. You can download these at www.hptuners.com/downloads.
  • If your drivers are current and you are running the latest version of VCM Suite, try resyncing your interface. In VCM Editor, select the Help tab and choose Resync Interface from the menu.
